FEEL IT! by Nusrate

Bismil Allah Ar Rahman Ar Rahim
Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen
Wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

Back into the frontline

Two steps forward, one step back
This is the reality of a believer
There will be always Ups and Downs
Two Ups, one Down
This is the reality of a believer
Ups make him reach the sky
Subhanal Allah
Downs make him realise his reality, he is nothing but "thuraab"/dust
Ups make him realise that He has been created in the best of the forms by the Best of the Creators, Allah SWT
The balance of the believer has to be heavy on the Ups, beidhnil Allah
Downs are only to bring him back in the frontline with the Will and Help of Allah, Al Qader, Al Musta'an
Do rejoice with the Ups, but do not let the Ups take you to clouds; if you do so, the fall is going to be painful
Do learn with the Downs, but do not let the Downs break you; if you do so, shaytan, your enemy will rejoice and you will cry
You are "thuraab"...and your most honourable position is in sujood/prostration
Hence walk on this earth as a humble slave of Ar Rahman and aim to reach the skies by living as Ibad ur Rahman

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen
wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

This is a gift from a very dear sister to me.
May Allah grant her barakah; I decided in shaa Allah to share these words of wisdom with you. May Allah accept from her.

Bismil Allah Ar Rahman Ar Rahim
Alhamdulil Allah, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

Your concern
When you are just worried about purifying yourself, cleaning yourself and repenting, then you will have all that you need without even asking, subhan Allah. Allah (swt) knows what we all need.
The problem is that we human beings are very hasty, and we are not satisfied – we need to have the satisfaction with the repentance, Allah (swt) will give us more than what we want, He Ta'ala is Al Kareem – The Most Generous. So we need to fix our past with repentance – maybe we wronged someone, said something wrong and other wrongdoings which we may not even realise.

Surah Nuh 10-12: (فَقُلۡتُ ٱسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ رَبَّكُمۡ إِنَّهُ ۥ كَانَ غَفَّارً۬ا (١٠) يُرۡسِلِ ٱلسَّمَآءَ عَلَيۡكُم مِّدۡرَارً۬ا (١١) وَيُمۡدِدۡكُم بِأَمۡوَٲلٍ۬ وَبَنِينَ وَيَجۡعَل لَّكُمۡ جَنَّـٰتٍ۬ وَيَجۡعَل لَّكُمۡ أَنۡہَـٰرً۬ا (١٢)) (I said (to them): 'Ask forgiveness from your Lord; Verily, He is Oft-Forgiving; (10) 'He will send rain to you in abundance; (11) 'And give you increase in wealth and children, and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers.' " (12))
إحفظ الله
يحفظك
You protect Allah's deen
Allah Ta'ala will protect all your affairs

May Allah AlRazzaq become your Wali
And Bless you with His Noor‎

فَفِرُّوا إِلَى اللَّهِ  - Run, flee to Allah (Surah Adh-Dhariyat, ayah 50)

In the heat of the life

If you say you do not have

Smile and check your heart

Ask, what do you not have?

When the world outside is not responding to your needs

Turn inwards, towards your heart and start fulfilling the rights of the One who gave you this heart in the first place

If you compare yourself to those who have, then you will be sad always

What they have is a gift from Allah, how they use it, is their test!

What you do not have is your test from Allah, how do you react and how you interact with Allah, Al Wahab is your test!

Happiness has many names

Forgiveness, Gratefulness, Patience, Affection, Compassion are only some of the names

Its ultimate source is nothing but turning, running to Allah

It does not matters how dark was your past, you cannot change it!

It does not matter how the future is going to unfold, you have not seen it!

If you change your focus and turn to Allah in every situation

No darkness will remain darkness,

There will be peace with the past

Contentment with the present

Hope and complete Trust in Allah, Al Vakil, Al Barr, Ar Rahim for what the future holds for you

It is not what you do not have that matters, it is how satisfied you are with your provision that dictates your happiness

Alhamdulil Allah

For some, mountains of gifts from Allah do not bring them to closer to The One who gave them in the first place

For others, one gift from Allah is enough to open the key to contentment and happiness

If you are blessed with the gift of eman, faith, then subhanal Allah all doors of happiness are open for you, in shaa Allah you choose which door you want to enter from

Do not hesitate, to ask Him, Al Mujeeb will respond you in the most suitable way and at the right time

Just be watchful of your steps, walk between Taqwa and Tawaqul

No door will remain closed for you, Subhanal Allah

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen

Surah An-Naml, ayah 62

Is not He (better than your gods) Who responds to the distressed one, when he calls on Him, and Who removes the evil, and makes you inheritors of the earth, generations after generations? Is there any ilâh (god) with Allâh? Little is that you remember!

Bismil Allah

The Worth of this dunya

Oh traveler, which caravan do you want to be part of?
Dunya we all want to have, but what is everlasting?
Akhirah, what is the proof?
Subhanal Allah, open the Qur'an and ask yourself, Who is the author?
Go to a graveyard, check the graves, and ask about your end, ask about your journey
Subhanal Allah, look at the universe which you are part of, does it not remind you of the Surah Al Fatiha?
Does it not take you back to Surah Al Fatiha?
In the nights when you are alone, Who is there for you?
Who hears your cry?
Allah, Al Hayye, Al Qayyum, Allah The Ever Living and The One Who Sustains and protects everything, so why are you despairing for this temporary pain and world?

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

Bismil Allah

Alhamdulil Allah, wa Salato, wa Salamo ala Rasulil Allah

Birds, my friends

I thought you were there for me,

no, you were not there for me!

I thought there was a bond of friendship between us,

no, there was no bond of friendship!

I thought you would be there in my pain,

no, you were too busy enjoying your gain!

I thought you were special,

no, you were not special, I got it wrong!

I elevated you to clouds, subhanal Allah,

you dropped on top of me, you were "thuraab", you were sand!

I woke up crying,

It was a nightmare! Alhamdulil Allah, a wake up call!

That is dunya, a world of deception, Subhanal Allah,

Attach only to Allah, your Walyi,

Let it go...

Ask Allah for His love and that will suffice you,

I became free, subhanal Allah,

I became friends with the birds and I started to smile again, Alhamdulil Allah

Subhanal Allah, Alhamdulil Allah, Allahu Akbar

Wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bismil Allah Alhamdulil Allah wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

Surah Nooh, ayah 10-12 – These are words of advice Prophet Nooh AS to his nation
فَقُلْتُ اسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ غَفَّارًا
"I said (to them): 'Ask forgiveness from your Lord; Verily, He is Oft-Forgiving;
يُرْسِلِ السَّمَاءَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِدْرَارًا
'He will send rain to you in abundance;
وَيُمْدِدْكُمْ بِأَمْوَالٍ وَبَنِينَ وَيَجْعَلْ لَكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ وَيَجْعَلْ لَكُمْ أَنْهَارًا
'And give you increase in wealth and children, and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers.' "

Rain drops in your heart and in your path

If you are going through any test...whether it is a test of any difficulty or any abundance, then just stop and see which direction you are heading on.

1-If you do not have a partner in life and struggle to come to terms that someone else has (what it seems) a great partner, then turn to the Qur'an and read about Maryam, the mother of Eisa AS. She did not have the companion and she received the miracle of being the mother of one of the Prophets, Eisa/Jesus AS. How did she cope, she had the companionship of Allah SWT. She had the support of Allah SWT. She knew this world is not the end!
So if you ever consider and question and compare yourself to others, stop for a moment and bring yourself back to that point where you know there is a plan of Allah SWT. Do not ever think, that those who have found partners in life, it is because they deserve it or it is their merit. Subhanal Allah no! By no means!
Anything good that you attain in this dunya is a gift from Allah and it is a means of test! Some are tested by having it and others are tested by not having it!
How do you succeed, be grateful for what you are and what you have and ask Allah to protect the blessings to those He has given and ask Allah to give you but with goodness and without trials and tribulations. All of us are blessed and we have much more than we do not have. But we have to stop comparing ourselves with others and have to "mind our own business more than others' business".

2-If you do not have children, then do not despair...just look at the children you meet in your path as flowers whose fragrance you can smell but you cannot take home.
If you want children, then remember Zakaryah AS and the duaa He made to Allah for giving him a heir, was not Allah enough for Him? Subhanal Allah

3- You are broken, there is darkness! You realise the sins that you have committed and you want to turn to Allah, then remember Yunus AS and his plight in the belly of the fish. Did He not turn to Allah, did He not find Allah responsive to Him?

4- We are in a battle, the enemies are in big numbers and you are feeling overwhelmed. What do you do? Subhanal Allah, the Prophet SAW turned to Allah at the time of the battle of Badr and what did Allah do? Subhanal Allah, The Muslim army was strengthened with the presence of angels, Subhanal Allah. Who won the battle?

5-You are looking for a job, your business is not doing well and you have commitments to fulfil, what do you do? You turn to Allah like Musa AS turned to Allah and then you use the means that He brings close to you! What did he get? Subhanal Allah, not only a job but a family also. Subhanal Allah.

6- You are sick and you have lost everything, you have no strength to continue...where do you go? Where did Ayub AS go? At which door did He turn to? What did he get? Everything that he had lost was returned to him and much more, including His health.

7- You feel dunya has been running away from you, Subhanal Allah. Think about the Prophet SAW, He used to run away from dunya.

8- You feel, you are not getting what you need from dunya, then check your focus. Where are you heading to? What is the purpose of your life?
Allah subhana wa t'Ala gives dunya to both good and bad people, to Muslims and non Muslim too. So do not be deceived, but just start focusing more on the longer term, in the hereafter and think about the purpose of your creation, why has Allah created you?

9- Qur'an gives bashara, glad tidings to those who believe, and hence if we turn to Allah in Istigfar for all our mistakes, shortcomings, excesses and also for all our imperfect worship and good deeds, Allah will meet our needs. Who is Allah and who are we? We do not give due merit to Allah, so at least we can turn to Him in forgiveness and He will cover us not only with His forgiveness but also with His Mercy, Blessings, Bounties and Barakah.

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ

Guide us to the Straight Way ( Surah AL Fateha, Ayah 6)

Walking in the Sand

Walking in the sand, I leave the marks behind

Do I know, the path ahead?

Surely not, however Allah, Al Alim, Al Hakim already knows the path that I am going to thread

I keep walking...

There is uncertainty, but there is faith, there is hope and there is assurance that Allah, who is my Nassir and Walyy is not going to leave me alone

I keep walking...

I discover more and more Who Allah is and who I am

Subhanal Allah, everything makes sense

There is a balance, there is an understanding between Al Kaleq, The Creator and the creation

I know what my purpose in this life is and I know that I am supposed only to walk

I ask Allah to guide me to the path that is straight...thereby the destination will be the most righteous one

My prayer has been heard, my prayer has been answered by Allah, As Samee, Al Mujeeb

I keep walking in the sand...knowing where to go.

Subhanal Allahi wa behamdehi

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen wa salato wasalamo ala Rasulil Allah

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bismil Allah, Alhamdulil Allah,

Wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

How close You are!

"Allah says, 'I am as my servant expects Me to be, and I am with him when he remembers me. If he thinks of Me, I think of him. If he mentions Me in company, I mention him in an even better company. When he comes closer to Me by a handspan, I come closer to him an arm's length. If he draws closer to Me by an arm's length, I draw closer by a distance of two outstretched arms nearer to him. If my servant comes to Me walking, I go to him running." (Al-Bukhari)

Rabbie,

You have unraveled to me in beautiful ways, subhanal Allah
As I ran towards the world, the world kept going far away from me
The moment I decided that I had enough of this race without real purpose
The moment I realized that my gaze should be directed towards your pleasure
I have started seeing the secrets of your decisions
I have started seeing the wisdom behind your decisions
I have started relying on you for decision making
I have started relying on you for guiding me all the way through
Now life has a new meaning
I have become like a bird
I have become free and light
My aim is to work for your pleasure
My aim is to attain taqwa of you
May aim is to have complete tawaqul in you
Now, nothing makes me really scared
Even in  the moments of fear, your love and your care overpower this fear
and
I realise that now I know you are taking care of me, you love me and you will give me falah, not because I deserve it but because I have decided to turn towards you, to run towards your pleasure

You are my Rabb, Who loves me more than my mother
You are my Walyi, my Closest Friend and Companion...Subhanal Allah

Subhanal Allahi wa Behamdehi

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Surah Ghafir, ayah 55

So be patient (O Muhammad SAW). Verily, the Promise of Allâh is true, and ask forgiveness for your fault, and glorify the praises of your Lord in the Ashi (i.e. the time period after the midnoon till sunset) and in the Ibkâr (i.e. the time period from early morning or sunrise till before midnoon)

Good Morning, by the Will of Allah

Bismil Allah, Alhamdulil Allah, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatul Allahi wa Barakatahu

We do not celebrate the new year, but we celebrate every morning and every evening and every turning point of the day and night!

We celebrate the dawn, when we obey Allah and we pray fajr salah
We celebrate the morning when after fajr, we sit down and recite the morning adhkar, remembrance as done by the Prophet SAW
We celebrate the turning of the morning into the afternoon when we pray dhuhoor
We celebrate the afternoon and the nearing of the closing of the day with the Asr salah and the evening adhkar, remembrance as done by the Prophet SAW
We celebrate the evening with the Maghreb salah
We celebrate the early night when we stand for Eisha before sleeping
We celebrate the night when we remember Allah with the sleeping adhkar, remembrance as done by the Prophet SAW
We celebrate the depths of the night, when we wake up and Glorify and Praise Allah in the Tahajud prayer

May Allah give us taufique, guidance in practice, ameen

Hence our celebration is a continuous, day and night, 24/7 celebration.
For us, there is no time for letting anything or anyone put us down, whether it be a person or circumstance.
For us there are no bad days, every day is a gift, is an opportunity to come closer to Allah and thereby achieve success in this dunya and akhira.
Allah subhana wa t'Ala gives us opportunity after opportunity to turn to Him, to seek His forgiveness, to cry to him for help, to cry to Him in both joy and sadness, to ask Him whatever we want. Subhanal Allah.

A Muslim is in celebration 24 hours a day, all around the year...as long He is obeying Allah because then he will have achieved paradise in His heart, even before he reaches the real paradise.

HADITH QUDSI:On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Allah said: 'I have prepared for My righteous servants what no eye has seen and no ear has heard, nor has it occurred to the human heart.'" Thus recite if you wish (1): "And no soul knows what joy for them (the inhabitants of Paradise) has been kept hidden (Qur'an Chapter 32 Verse 17)." [Bukhari, Muslim, at-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah.]

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bismil Allah, Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen,

wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

Are you open minded?

Narrated Abu Hurairah: Jibril (Gabriel) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "O Allah's Messenger! This is Khadijah, coming to you with a dish having meat soup (or some food or drink). When she reaches you, greet her on behalf of her Lord (Allah) and on my behalf, and give her the glad tidings of having a palace made of Qasab in Paradise, wherein there will be neither any noise nor any toil, (fatigue, trouble, etc.)." [Al-Bukhari]
They think we are oppressed, they think that an open mind requires "open dressing"...
Subhanal Allah, how wrong they got it!

The reality is totally different...we have chosen, by the will of Allah, a way of life which is free and liberating.
Do you know who was Khadija RA??? Does that ring bells???
She was a 40 years old businesswoman who proposed a 25 years old man, called Muhammad SAW to marry him!
She did not propose him because he was very attractive; she was fascinated by his character, his faithfulness as his agent in one of the trading caravans. Subhanal Allah.
Could you do that or would you allow your children to do that?
Muhammad SAW was a 25 year old, who did not feel bad at all when saying yes to Khadija RA...how many of our Muslim men nowadays would be happy to get married to someone older than them, let alone 15 years older than them. He did not get married because of her wealth but because He thought there was nothing wrong with it and above all, Allah had willed it!
Who was behind this...Allah SWT, what a beautiful plan!
They had a successful marriage...she was there in his good times and in his bad times and subhanal Allah how much she was loved and respected by Allah SWT...She was sent salam by Allah SWT and granted the good tidings that she was a woman of Jannah while still being alive. Subhanal Allah.

The way our society is progressing, we need to question ourselves...are we open minded enough to accept the like the above situations?
Are the parents preparing the children to have such an open mind to the reality that they realise that the only boundary they need to respect is the boundary of Taqwa; that is obeying Allah and avoiding sins and all this based on the love of Allah, Al Wadood (The All Loving) hope in Allah, Al Ghafoor Ar Raheem  (The All Forgiving, The All Merciful) and fear of Allah.

Subhanal' Allah.
In shaa Allah, let's reflect on the above and let us open our minds and hearts and let Al Wasi ( The Vast, the All- Encompassing, the All-Sufficient) take over our hearts and reasoning.

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen. Wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bismil Allah, Alhamdulil Allah,

wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

What do you not have?

"Allah says, 'I am as my servant expects Me to be, and I am with him when he remembers me. If he thinks of Me, I think of him. If he mentions Me in company, I mention him in an even better company. When he comes closer to Me by a handspan, I come closer to him an arm's length. If he draws closer to Me by an arm's length, I draw closer by a distance of two outstretched arms nearer to him. If my servant comes to Me walking, I go to him running." (Al-Bukhari)

Do you realise what you have or do you always count what you do not have???

Subhanal Allah...It is very easy to start counting and stating I do not have this, I do not have that...

in shaa Allah, we need to look at the bag of treasures and gifts that we are holding within us and outside us.

Subhanal Allah.

Do you believe in Allah? This is one of the biggest gifts and one bigger gift than this is knowing Who is Allah.

Through knowing Allah, everything makes sense.

.

We are masakeen, we are beggars in front of Allah. However rich and healthy and prosperous we are...we are still beggars in front of Allah. We are all disabled in front of Allah, however healthy and fit we think we are.

However, there is one key... start counting what you have and in shaa Allah your list will be unending!

If you want more and better then you can get more and better if you ask Allah,...Allah is The Malekul Mulk, He owns the treasures of the heavens and the earth...what are you waiting for...just ask...its is Friday...ask more...Allah will respond.

Stop comparing yourself with others. Allah has made you unique (one of my beloved sisters' reminded me of this 2 days ago)...now how do you use this "uniqueness" that Allah has given you?
This is what you have to discover...This is our lifetime job, to use all the gifts that Allah has given us to please Him, to come closer to Him.

We are going to leave this world with 5 pieces of cloth for a woman and 3 pieces of cloth for a man.
Time is precious and it is compulsory for us to do our best with whatever Allah has given us, that is it!
It is compulsory upon us to be happy with Allah, otherwise we are not happy with our qadar!
Alhamdulil Allah...rejoice and use this day to come closer to Allah and ask Allah for everything and anything...but do not get attached to what you are asking. Get attached to Allah, Al Wahab, The One who bestows gifts.

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah.

Bismil Allah Ar Rahman Ar Rahim

Alhamdulil Allah, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

Surah bani Isra’il; 17: 24
ْ رَبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا

Rabbir hamhuma kama Rabbayani Sagheera (My Lord! bestow on them Thy Mercy even as they cherished me in childhood)

Mother

As your soul reached the throat, you opened the eyes one more time

At that time, you were not looking at us…your gaze had travelled to a world unseen to the living
Your sickness made you frail, your speech was not there anymore
You could not give me the words of strength which you were used to utter to me
I had grown and matured but I was still your “baby”…when you used to see me, you used to like to kiss me…when I went out, when I came back, when I went to sleep

A quick sneeze would make you feel worried about my health
My pain was your pain

As you laid down in your last sickness, the clock had stopped for your loved ones
At that time the dua’a was not for your recovery…the dua’a was for the best outcome; we had surrendered to Allah, we had surrendered to Al Ahad, Who loved you more than we did, subhanal Allah
We had surrendered to Al Hayye Al Qaiyum, Who loved us more than you did
Your advice is in front of me…you forgiving everyone before you sleep; honouring the guest; smiling to everyone; affection for older and younger; commitment to your family, your in laws, your brothers and sisters and nephews and nieces, your friends crying…the list is long…your were loved by almost everyone I can think of… revenge you did not take...your tongue moist with dhikr of Allah…Subhanal Allah…
You smiled as you were being headed towards your temporary home…the “qabr” that we all dread…your sickness and your death have touched me by the will of Allah…
Will I ever be the same??? In shaa Allah, no…I do not think so
The sadness is enormous but the acceptance of Allah’s plan is even greater and I say Alhamdulil Allah in every circumstance.
I ask Allah to grant you firdaus al ‘ala and may my father be there waiting for you.
Ameen ya Rabb al alameen.
Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen

AYAT (Verses last part of 2 and 3) from Surah (Chapter) At Talaq, no 65

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم

I seek refuge with Allah from Satan the accursed

وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مَخْرَجًا

And whosoever fears Allâh and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty).

And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allâh, then He will suffice him. Verily, Allâh will accomplish his purpose. Indeed Allâh has set a measure for all things.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, The Lord of Mercy, The Giver of Mercy

Alhamdulil Allah, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

The victory is near with Al Nassir (The One Who grants victory)

I thought I had passed the test

I thought I had reached the destination

I thought I was going to achieve the heights that I had desired

Suddenly, I realised…hold on!

The test was not over

I was still climbing the mountain

But now, I was not climbing on the back of anyone,

I was climbing with the support of Allah, Al Wali (The Protecting Friend), Al Nassir (The One Who grants victory)

Yes, Allah was “carrying” me, Al Qader (The All Able, All Powerful) and I felt light

Suddenly I realised, that bedihnil Allah (with the permission of Allah)

I was actually winning the battle, yes…I had realised that Allah, Ar Rahman was holding me

Whatever came my way, I was being taken care of, I was being provided by Allah Ar Razaq (The All Provider)

My provision was not linked to anyone but to the will of Allah

As I was climbing the mountain, subhanal Allah, I was feeling light…so light as if I was ‘walking in the park” in a beautiful evening, with a refreshing breeze…

That was eman (faith), that was tawaqul (reliance and trust)…in Allah

There was only concern now…to live and to act with sidq, with truthfulness towards Allah, myself and the creation

There was only one concern now… to act and live with taqwa, within the boundaries set by Allah

That is my condition!…If such is my condition, I am sure Allah, Al Fat’ah ( The All Opener) will open the way and in shaa Allah I will attain the best nasr (victory) and this will be the best victory, from Allah subhana wa t’Ala ( Glory be to Allah, free from any imperfection).

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen

Wednesday evening, 29 Dhul Hijah 1435 / 22  October 2014

Bismil Allah Ar Rahman Ar Rahim

Alhamdulil Allah, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

Allah, your Wali, your Protecting friend

We all love having friends, being popular, centre of attentions

Subhanal Allah

We love to hear our praises

Subhanal Allah

Sometimes….those loving friends become silent and those words of praise quieten

Subhanal Allah

Why?

Allah wants you to connect with Him, He wants you to realise this most trustworthy friendship

Allah wants you to take Him as a Friend... actually much more than that... as a Protecting Friend

Allah wants you to stop craving for your praise but He wants you to sing His praises…Subhanal Allahi wa Be Hamdehi ( Glory be to Allah, free from any imperfections and all praises are due to Allah as there is no good that happens to you except by His will)…

Allah wants you to connect with Him through His Qur’an…

Qur’an is not a silent friend…Qur’an is the Word of your Protecting Friend….Who is never going to be silent as long as you want to talk to Him…
Allah wants you to connect with Him through dua'a, supplication...yes...He is a Al Mujeeb, The Responder and He is Al Wahab, The Giver...the moment you turn to Him and crave for His companionship... you will realise that He is your Wali, your Protecting Friend.
Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen

Bismil Allah Ar Rahman Ar Rahim

Alhamdulil Allah, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

The most noble slavery and the most blessed words

As I wnder in the deserts of Arabia

I thank Allah for the sounds of the adhan

As I wonder in the deserts of Arabia

How can my heart not soften as I hear the call after call of my Rabb inviting me to submission?

As I wonder in the deserts of Arabia, and I bear witness to the 10 blessed days of the year, I realize the importance of time and the importance of a profitable business

As I wonder in the lands of Arabia, I realize that the currency of Islam are good deeds…we cannot pay anyone or anything except with good deeds!

Subhanal Allah and as we trade with good deeds, Rabbana increases our profit…some we are able to enjoy in dunya, the remaining will be provided to us on the Day of Accounting

One of these beloved deeds to our Rabb, is to witness and utter His magnificence, particularly in these first ten days of Dhul Hijjah:
الله أكبر الله أكبر
ALLAH IS THE GREATEST, ALLAH IS THE GREATEST
لا  اله الا الله
NO ONE IS TRULY WORTHY OF WORSHIP EXCEPT ALLAH
الله أكبر الله أكبر
ALLAH IS THE GREATEST, ALLAH IS THE GREATEST
ولله الحمد
AND ALL PRAISE IS DUE TO ALLAH
As I ponder the meaning of the above verses, I realize that they actually give me the freedom from all slavery, except the true slavery! Then, what is this true slavery? Submission, complete submission to Allah only
In the above blessed phrases as I say that as Allah is The Greatest and He is The Only true God worthy of worship, then all praise can be due only to Him. Anything good that I accomplish is by His will and by His facilitation! Then, why should I feel subdued to His creation? Subhanal Allah, Allah submitted all creation to me so that I could worship Him with ease, Subhanal Allah
In shaa Allah, as you utter more and more the above blessed and the most truthful words in every land, not only in the lands and deserts of Arabia, I ask you…is the heart moving, do you perceive the greatness of the above phrases???
Subhanal Allah, if yes then you have grasped, at least to a certain extent who is Allah; if the answer is no, no reason to despair! Go back to the Qur’an and find out Who is Allah and all roads will open to Jannah in your heart in dunya and the complete jannah in the hereafter, beidhnil Allah
Alhamduil Allah Rabb al alameen, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah.

Bismil Allah Ar Rahman Ar Rahim

Alhamdulil Allah, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

Surah Al Luqman (31), Ayat 1:5

1.

الم

Alif¬Lâm¬Mîm [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur'ân, and none but Allâh (Alone) knows their meanings.].
2.

تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ الْحَكِيمِ

These are Verses of the Wise Book (the Qur'ân).
3.

هُدًى وَرَحْمَةً لِلْمُحْسِنِينَ

A guide and a mercy for the Muhsinûn (good¬doers).
4.

الَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَهُمْ بِالْآخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ

Those who perform As¬Salât (Iqamat¬as- Salât) and give Zakât and they have faith in the Hereafter with certainty.
5.

أُولَٰئِكَ عَلَىٰ هُدًى مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ

Such are on guidance from their Lord, and such are the successful.

So many deadlines!

I rush to pray…

So many deadlines!

I have to pray just the Fardh/obligatory and run to achieve that deadline!

You know, time is very precious and dunya (world) is very important!!!

You understand, my livelihood is my work!!!

You understand, I have to please my boss!

He is waiting for the report…if I pray the Sunnah (optional prayer performed by the Prophet SAW)…I will not catch the promotion train…while I am praying the Sunnah…my colleagues are winning over me….time is very precious….dunya is very important…

Stop! RED LIGHT!

Put the brakes on! Come out of this “bandwagon”!

No real success in dunya can come by running towards dunya!

Be sure of it! Subhanal Allah
There is one straight path and this straight path is the path to success!
If success is what you are after!
If promotion is what you are after!
If marriage is what you are after!
If good children is what you are after!
If dunya is what you are after!
Then yes, turn to Salah (prayer), because it is in Salah that there is falah (success)…and this the Muedhin’s (the caller to prayer) cry at least five times a day! Subhanal Allah
Salah is falah and Allah subhana wa t’Ala does not say that it is falah only in the hereafter, it is falah, complete falah and complete falah is falah in dunya and akhirah (hereafter).
Salah is not only going to give you the dunya, but it is going to give you the means of success in dunya and akhirah!

Salah is going to be a means of taqwa (piety, consciousness of Allah)….
Salah is going to  be a means of  sabr (patience and perseverance)…
Salah is going  to be a means of shukr (gratitude)…

Salah is going to be a means of hidaya (guidance)... and much more...subhanal Allah

Salah is going to be a means of putting things in the right perspective...
Salah is going to give you a long term vision…
If you put Salah first, then in shaa Allah everything else will fall into place...
As we run towards dunya, let’s start thinking about akhirah!
Let’s start thinking about Jannah (Paradise), Firdaus (Highest place in Jannah)
Next time, you have a deadline…surely work hard, actually, no! Work smarter!
Aim to work less but with barakah (blessings and abundance resulting from the support of Allah)!
How are you going to obtain barakah?
Subhanal Allah, turn to Allah in Salah, pray the Fardh and also the Sunnah and make a lot of dua’a both in sujood (prostration) and before you say the salam (finish the prayer)…I can assure you that Rabbana is going to make the task at hand easy and will also make you successful in dunya and akhira…Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen
Alhamdulil Allah Rabb ala alameen

Bismil Allah Ar Rahman Ar Rahim
Alhamdulil Allah, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

The power of dua’a

As I woke up in the morning
I turned my heart to Allah, an then my tongue

I think I did not raise my hands…but I was making dua’a
This is my means of strength…this is what turns the bad into good

This is what changes qadar… destiny
Sometimes you wonder, how long is the test going to last

Sometimes you wonder, why is its taking that long???
But we need to learn….to keep asking Allah for each and every need of ours

We are hungry, unless Allah feeds us
We are naked, unless Allah clothes us

We are sick, unless Allah gives us health

We are homeless, unless Allah gives us shelter
We are poor, unless Allah gives us halal wealth

We are ignorant, unless Allah gives us beneficial knowledge
We are lost, unless Allah shows us the way

We do not have sustenance, unless Allah gives us sustenance
Subhanal Allah, the list is endless

The key realization is that you are Allah’s slave whether enjoying a blessing or missing it!

And in both situations you have to realize your total dependence in Allah
If you have it, it is only Allah that can protect it for you!

And if you do not have it, it is only Allah that can give you!
So there is neither space for boasting or arrogance nor for despair and lowliness towards human beings in Islam!

We are abd al’ Allah, slaves of Allah, Al Ahad and He is enough for us!
Alhamdulil Allah Rabb ala alameen

Bismil Allah Ar Rahman Ar Rahim

Alhamdulil Allah, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

Allah will not let you break!

I feel the race has got tougher!

Or is it me who is becoming weaker?

Am I breaking?

No, that is not acceptable! Simply not acceptable!

A believer can never break down…this is not acceptable!

The moment of weakness is the moment of tear, at that moment Allah’s help will race towards you, in a way that you cannot even imagine, subhanal Allah!

But this help, will become visible only at a time that is right for you, not at the time you want it to be!

Your vision is limited… you feel you are breaking, but no, never, Allah is building you and is raising your ranks through the hardship and tests!

You just cover yourself with consistent remembrance of Allah, so that the devil does not get the opportunity to play up with your emotions and strength!

Allah’s help is near…remember Ebrahim AS, with the fire came the coolness but there was something else! Do you remember???

Tawaqul in addition to an unbreakable faith and consciousness that Allah will not let his beloved Khaleel (friend – Ebrahim AS) break…

So, we learn to build our faith and as we build our faith with the help of Allah Azzawajal, we increase our reliance, our tawaqul in Allah because faith cannot be complete without reliance!

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah.

Bismil Allah Ar Rahman Ar Rahim

Alhamdulil Allah, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

Changing winds

Subhanal Allah, life has ups and downs

Seasons change, flowers and fruits change with the seasons

There are moments of joy, there are moments of pain

There are days when you feel the world is your oyster, there are days when you feel this world is not yours

There are moments of love and there are moments of hurt

There are pleasant surprises and there are unexpected disappointments

There is day and there is night

There is sunshine and there is rain

There is a smile and laughter and there is a tear and a moment of cry

All this change bears witness to how “unstable” is life and hence how desperate we are to hold to The One Who does not change, Allah subhana wa t’Ala, Al Hayye (The Everliving), Al Qayyum ( The One that supports and sustains all that exists)

So whenever you feel overwhelmed by change in your life, turn and run to Al Hayye, Al Qayyum, He is going to give you the strength to face the change with stability and the security that only faith in Allah can allow you to feel and only trust in Allah’s plan can make you stand still like a firmly rooted palm tree on the face of changing winds

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah.

Bismil Allah Ar Rahman Ar Rahim

Alhamdulil Allah, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

The race is not over yet!

The body is tired
The stomach is asking for food

The mouth is thirsty

Ya Allah! I cannot do this on my own!

…..you are running the last 4 Km of the Ramadan 1435 marathon…

You have come too far, subhanal Allah!

No, you cannot give up now!

You cannot stop yet!

You can take a quick rest, take a deep breath and continue running in the Name of Allah for the sake of Allah!

The end is close and just imagine what delights await you???

Taqwa, Forgiveness and Jannah!

Subhanal Allah

If you attained Taqwa and Forgiveness, then you are witnessing “Jannah” while in dunya…

You are living “paradise in my heart” and what awaits you in the hereafter is even better…

Abu Huraira reported that Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said: Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, said: I have prepared for My pious servants which no eye (has ever) seen, no ear has (ever) heard and no human heart has ever perceived those bounties leaving apart (those bounties) about which Allah has informed you. Sunday, 22 Ramadan 1435/Sunday, 22 July 2014
Bismil Allah Ar Rahman Ar Rahim
Alhamdulil Allah, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

What do I want?
As I stand in front of  Allah, Ar Rahman, AL Mujeeb, Al Wahab. Al Malekul Mulk, Al Ghani, AL Mughni, Ar Razak….I feel all the assurance I need to succeed in this world and hereafter
As I raise my hands, as I put my head into sujood, as I beg to Allah  while seated in tashahud, as I ask Him while standing, walking, lying - subhanal Allah -I realise how beautiful is to have Allah as my companion. He never leaves; sometimes I go after people, after friends…in the expectation of being reciprocated with love! Subhanal Allah
How can I expect a “faqueerr” giving something to a “faqueerr”…this is the fallacy of all attachment in this dunya, Subhanal Allah
If you ever felt the world is selfish, yes the world is selfish…but you Rabb is not selfish, you Rabb is Al Kareem, Al Wahab, Al Manan, Al Ghani, Al Mughni, Alhamdulil Allah
As you stand in front of Rabbana, do not shy away, ask to the heart’s feel: ask Allah to open for you the means as He opened the means for Dhul Qarnain;
As you stand in front of As Shafii, ask Him to cure you as He cured Ayub AS;
As you stand in front of Al Malekul Mulk, ask Him to open the gates of knowledge and halal wealth and a kingdom like He opened for Daud AS and his son Sulaiman AS
As you stand in front of Al Latif Al Khabir, ask Allah to take care of you, to honour you as He honoured Yusuf AS
As you stand in front Al Azeez, ask Allah to open you the way, the way he did open the sea from Musa AS
As you stand in front of Al Hakeem, ask Allah to grant you the wisdom that he granted to Luqman
As you stand in front of As Sabur, ask Allah to grant you the sabr jameel that He granted to Yakoub AS
As you stand in front of As Shakoor, ask Allah to grant you the gratefulness of the Prophet SAW
As you stand in front of Al Ghafoor Ar Rahim, ask Allah to bestow you the forgiveness that He bestowed to Yunus AS, which took him out from all darknesses and opened a new dawn in his life…and the means to this opening is highlighted by Allah in Surah Al Anbiyah, ayah 87:
وَذَا النُّونِ إِذْ ذَهَبَ مُغَاضِبًا فَظَنَّ أَنْ لَنْ نَقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ فَنَادَىٰ فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
And (remember) Dhun-Nûn (Jonah), when he went off in anger, and imagined that We shall not punish him (i.e. the calamites which had befallen him)! But he cried through the darkness (saying): Lâ ilâha illa Anta [none has the right to be worshipped but You (O Allâh)], Glorified (and Exalted) are You [above all that (evil) they associate with You]. Truly, I have been of the wrong-doers."

Bismil Allah Ar Rahman Ar Rahim

Alhamdulil Allah, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

Our eyes cry for you, our brother and sister in pain

As we hear the painful counts in the lands of Palestine, Syria, Sri Lanka, you name it!

As we see scenes of sadness in our screens of TV,

This is the moment of brotherhood!

Allah subhana wa t’Ala is calling us to task!

We cry and we curse the perpetrators

We ask about unity, brotherhood, we ask about justice

What is going to take us out from the mess we are in?

The moment we take the responsibility with the help of Allah to contribute to this world becoming a better place to live in!

We have to start by making dua'a for our leaders, for Allah to aid them in their decision-making, for them to walk upon the straight path, upon the justice, upon the truth; then our duaa is for our needy brothers and sisters for Allah to keep them steadfast, to take them out of their pain and suffering and then to ask Allah subhana wa t’Ala to make us help them in the best way.

As we see our brothers and sisters being tested with hunger, pain, suffering we are being tested with all the wellbeing and joy of this dunya, Alhamdulil Allah

There are many questions…

Are we fulfilling the commands of zakah and sadqah towards the needy ones?

Are we remembering our brothers/sisters in our duaa as we remember our blood brothers/sisters?

Are we teaching our children, our youth the importance of unity and brotherhood not only in homes but in the community, in the Muslim Ummah? Subhanal Allah

In shaa Allah as we break our fast today, as we wake up for tahajud…spare some moment of your joy…to cry for your brothers and sisters that you have not seen but to whom the Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon Him) called brothers and sisters

Our happiness and joy cannot be complete and our responsibility cannot be fulfilled until we fulfill the rights of our extended family, our Muslim Ummah to the best of our ability!

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen

Bismil Allah Ar Rahman Ar Rahim

Alhamdulil Allah, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

What is my worth?

As you stand in front of the door of Malik Al-Mulk (The Possessor of Kingdom, the King of the kings)

You ask your Rabb, what is your status?

What is your worth?

Rabb al alameen has already answered you in the Qur’an!

Surah Al Isra, ayah 70

And indeed We have honoured the Children of Adam, and We have carried them on land and sea, and have provided them with At-Taiyyibât (lawful good things), and have preferred them above many of those whom We have created with a marked preferment.

This is your real worth!

This is your Creator, Al Khaleq Who is affirming it! Hence it is the truth!

So how are your actions? Are they worthy of such an honour, such a status that Al Malik Al-Mulk has honoured you with?

So in your salah as you fall down in sujood, beg your Rabb to raise your actions to reach to that status that He has confirmed in the Qur’an.

The answer from your Rabb, Malik Al-Mulk is assured as long as you are truthful in your belief and your sincerity, subhanal Allah.

So the duaa is ya Allah make us truthful slaves of you only, Malik Al-Mulk

Ameen ya Rabb al alameen

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

Bismil Allah Ar Rahman Ar Rahim

Alhamdulil Allah, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

The door to taqwa!

Your stomach is empty, your heart is full with the remembrance of Allah subhana wa t’Ala

Shopping malls are filled with people passing time, you are running to and from the Majid and all the gatherings of beneficial knowledge

For some, Ramadan is the accomplishment of their desires, for others Ramadan is the fulfillment of their souls’ needs

So what is Ramadan about?

Ramadan is about building your connection with your Allah, Al Khaleq, your Creator

Ramadan is about building yourself towards becoming a Muslim, one submissive to the commands of Allah subhana wa t’Ala and as you become a Muslim, you want to become a moomeen, a believer in all that Allah wants you to believe and as you become a believer, then you run to ehsan, to excellence – you worship as if you can see Allah, and if you cannot see Allah, then be sure that He can see you. When you reach ehsan, then beidhnil Allah, you will reach taqwa . When you reach taqwa - the purpose of your fasting- then you will feel Allah’s presence in every act that you perform and in every decision that you take. Then no problem will remain unresolved as you will be guided by Allah’s Light.

And when you have Allah's Light guiding you, do you think any good door will ever remain closed to you?
Surah Al Baqarah, ayah 183

O you who believe! Observing As-Saum (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqûn
Surah At Talq, part of ayah2

وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مَخْرَجًا

And whosoever fears Allâh ( has taqwa) is  and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty).

Saturday, 30 Shaban 1435/  28 June 2014

Bismil Allah Ar Rahman Ar Rahim

Alhamdulil Allah, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

You are not alone!

It is coming closer, subhanal Allah!

Will I reach there? Less than 24 hours to go!

The duaa is for Allah to make us reach Ramadan with a very strong faith and to make us complete Ramadan with an even stronger faith and with His complete acceptance, ameen ya Rabb al alameen.

Ramadan is not a celebration of families, Ramadan is a celebration of the revelation of the Qur’an and hence Qur’an was not revealed in the “hush rush” of the city, of a family; it was revealed in the night of Qadr, in the month of Ramadan in the mount Hira, in seclusion to the Prophet SAW, subhanal Allah.

If you are alone, go back 1435 years ago and make your home the “mount Hira”…this is your opportunity to create a very strong bond with your Rabb, with the Book He started to reveal in this blessed month.

One of the reasons why Ramadan is mubarak (blessed) is because the Qur’an is mubarak and Qur’an can only make our lives Mubarak if we open it, read it, understand it, reflect upon it and implement it! This is what this month is about! Subhanal Allah.

Whether you are working, whether you are not, whether you are alone, whether you are in a family, it does not matter, you just have to connect to Allah! This is your golden opportunity to ask Allah to accomplish every halal (legitimate) desire in your life.

As you work, as you walk, as you sleep, as feed your children, as you engage in any social relation, make the Qur’an alive, bring the “Qur’an personality” alive, become a “walking” Qur’an like the Prophet SAW was, become generous as the “wind” as the Prophet SAW was in the month of Ramadan.

This is the month for you to think about why Ar Rahman made you His ‘agent” on earth, this is the time of action… dawah is not only about sharing knowledge, dawah is also about making others know Ar Rahman, Al Kareem through your behaviour and your actions. Subhanal Allah.

Wherever you are, this is your month, yes this is your month! This is that time of the year where you can with the will of Allah pave the way for your Jannah (paradise) in this dunya (world) and akhira (hereafter).

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

Bismil Allah Ar Rahman Ar Rahim

Alhamdulil Allah, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

The road of “tazkiah” (purification)

I fell down, I fell down!

But the faith that has already penetrated in my heart holds my hand and tell me

Stand up, stand up!

This is your journey and you cannot let it go!

This is what tazkiah does to me!

I know my weaknesses, I know my darknesses but my Allah knows it even better than me!

He has clearly stated in the Qur’an that man has been created weak (Surah AN Nisah, ayah 28)

يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ أَنْ يُخَفِّفَ عَنْكُمْ ۚ وَخُلِقَ الْإِنْسَانُ ضَعِيفًا

“And Allah wants to lighten for you [your difficulties]; and mankind was created weak.” (Qur’an 4:28)

I know my strengths, I know my “stars” but Allah knows it even better than me!

Allah has clearly stated in the Qur’an that man has been created in the best of the forms (Surah At-Tin, ayah 4)

 لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ

“We have created the human being in the best form” (Surah At-Tin, ayah 4)

 And this is my road, this is my journey from weakness to the best form;

So I turn to Allah, I seek from Allah purification from all sicknesses of the heart, I seek Him forgiveness and I have no doubt if I am sincere in my supplication and truthful in my determination to act upon tazkiah, then there will be Light!

This Light is going to bring a clarity that is going to open the Qur’an for me, the understanding of the Qur’an and when the Qur’an is open for me, then this Light is going to remove all darknesses and all doubts. Then I will be able to see the truth as truth and falsehood as falsehood.

But the journey of tazkiah is an ongoing journey and the road has hills and thorns and hence we need to constantly turn to Allah for help and support and cannot dare to give up!
Purification cannot stop until we meet Allah subhana wa t’Ala!

…so in shaa Allah our journey has started!

The powerful women

I ask myself who is a powerful women?

Is she the one who has achieved success in her career?

Is she the one who has a noble lineage?

Is she the one who has achieved success in her family?

Is she the one who has achieved the fame?

No! The powerful women is the one who strives to achieve the pleasure of Allah despite all adversities!

Powerful women is the one who does not give up! She has a mission, she wants to live a life filled with taqwa!

Whatever comes her way, she knows her Creator and she knows her destiny!

While she lives in the short term as tomorrow no one of us has seen, her gaze is on the long term!

Sometimes she feels the night is long but then she remembers surah Ad duha

وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰ

And verily, your Lord will give you (all good) so that you shall be well-pleased.

She does not know what is giving up and her inspiration are the role models of our history:

Khadija RA, Aisha RA, Fatima RA, Asiya (the pious wife of Fir’aun) and Maryam (Mother of Isa AS).

So, who is your role model?

"Relieve us ya Bilal !"

I woke up in the morning...I felt my heart heavy!

I felt sadness in my heart, I realized that was a sign that I done something wrong, I needed relief!

The words of the Prophet SAW to Bilal RA (The Sahaba who used to call to the prayer) came to my heart and were transformed into action!

Subhanal Allah, what a relief!

I cried to Allah in sujood and opened my heart to Allah.

Yes I felt a relief, yes I felt that my prayer was answered, yes I realized the truthfulness in the words of the Prophet SAW.

So, never, ever despair of Allah's Mercy...

If you ever feel you missed the mark on taqwa (doing what Allah likes and avoiding what Allah dislikes)...then turn to Allah, make tauba (return to Allah), make istigfar (seek forgiveness)...and relieve yourself with the prayer!

That is the time, to once again establish rapport with your Rabb and be open and ask Allah for taqwa because with taqwa, Allah subhana wa t'ala will open all the doors:

Allah the most high says: وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مَخْرَجًا

And whosoever fears Allâh and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty) (Surah At-Talaq, ayah 2)

...and keep doing istigfar because istigfar is going to be a means for you to attain taqwa  and with istigfar, you will find a solution to all the problems in your life.

Allah the most high says:

فَقُلْتُ اسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ غَفَّارًا
يُرْسِلِ السَّمَاء عَلَيْكُم مِّدْرَارًا

وَيُمْدِدْكُمْ بِأَمْوَالٍ وَبَنِينَ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ أَنْهَارًا

Saying, ‘Ask forgiveness from your Lord; for
He is Oft-Forgiving; He will send rain to you in abundance; “‘And Give
you increase in wealth and sons; and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers (of flowing water)” (Surah Al Nuh 10-12)

Alhamdulil Allah, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

Women of Jannah!

Oh women of Jannah (beidhnil Allah, with the permission of Allah)!

As you read this, my prayer today is that you become the women of Jannah

Allah subhana wa t'Ala has created you in the best form, has honoured you in the role of a daughter, of a sister, of a mother, of a wife

Subhanal Allah, you may not have attained or attain the honour of all the roles but there are two roles that you cannot deny

Subhanal Allah, you are a daughter of a beautiful mother...and she is always going to beautiful because she carried you through nine months and her position is very high

Subhanal Allah, you are a sister, Allah subhana wa t'Ala called believers as brothers/sisters so we do not have a choice!

We have a duty, to the best of our ability to fulfil this sisterhood for the sake of Allah

The moment we try to fulfil this role with the help of Allah, we will be contributing towards a healthy society, where there will not be a place for uncontrolled jealousy, pride, arrogance and these will be replaced with sharing and fulfilling the rights, humbleness, "lowering of wing" towards your sister/brother, sabr and shukr

May Rabbana make each one of us fulfil every role in our life for His pleasure and with ehsan (excellence)

Alhamdulil Allah, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

Bismil Allah Ar Rahman Ar Rahim
Alhamdulil Allah, wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

In search of happiness!
Is there anything that can make me really happy except the remembrance of Allah? NO, a straight NO!

Whenever you feel a moment of sadness, a moment of sadness that takes you away from Allah…
Yes, there are moments of sadness that we need to feel, and these are when we displease Allah, when we committed a sin!
These moments of sadness can bring us closer to Allah, if they do not make us despair of the mercy of Allah and they can be constructive if we turn to Allah!

Otherwise whenever you feel sad, you have to realise that this sadness is not from Allah!
Sadness that makes you feel further way from Rabbana is not from Rabbana!

So turn away from that feeling and run to Allah and beg for that joy, happiness, contentment that only Rabbana can give you.
Most sadness is work of shaytan, who wants to create fear and despair in your heart, while Allah Subhana wa t’Ala wants to give you hope and happiness.
This is only found in remembering Allah!

Angry?…Why?

I am angry, I am hungry

Why do you not eat your anger… ?
Then you will say Alhamdulil Allah

I am angry, I am burning
Why do you not make wudhu, wash your hands, your face, wipe your head with wet hands and wash your feet …?
Then you will say Alhamdulil Allah

I am angry, I am hot

Why do you not go out and take a small walk…and enjoy the sun, the rain, the sky, the birds…?
Then you will say Subhanal Allah

I am angry, I want to break…
Why do you not take a break and have an ice cream, rather than break someone’s heart with hurtful words…?

Then you will say Alhamdulil Allah

I am angry, I want to break the world with my words Stop! Stop writing! The light is red! You cannot write in red!

Then you will say Alhamdulil Allah

I am angry, I want to smash someone’s face…

The strong man is not the one who throws down his adversary
The strong man is the one who wins over his anger…

Subhanal Allah…then indeed you would have won your worst enemy…your nafs/lower self

Anger...anger needs to be hanged out of your life

Replace anger with calmness that can only be attained if we realise that nothing matters in life except the pleasure of Allah, our Creator
Replace anger with understanding the person and the situation

Replace the dark face of anger with a joyful heart full of understanding and gratefulness to Allah, our Rabb
Whose example do you want to follow…Subhanal Allah, Allah has called Himself Al Halim, The Most Forbearing

Do you not want to be forbearing…knowing how forbearing and patient is your Rabb? Do you not want to give another chance …knowing how many chances Allah gives you?

You say this is not possible? The pain is too strong!

It is possible with the help of Allah…are not the lives of Prophet Yusuf AS and the Prophet SAW, an example of anger transformed into mercy and forgiveness to fellow human beings.

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen

Key of hope

Subhanal Allah, how beautiful is the light, the light from Allah
How beautiful is the light, the light from Rabbana
How beautiful is the light, the light from Al Noor

As you go through your daily routine, as you go through your daily tasks
there is a key, a beautiful key that is going to make all doors open
Subhanal Allah, this is the key of tauba (returning to Allah) and istigfar (seeking forgiveness)

The beauty about this key is that, it has two teeth...
One tooth of remembrance of Allah, through which your heart will open to the tranquility and serenity that it is in so much desperate need
Subhanal Allah, the other tooth is the one that is going to open for you the happiness of your Khaleeq, Creator because there is nothing that makes Rabbana more happier than a slave that returns to Him

The reason to do tauba is not only because we are sinners; no doubt we are sinners!
But the real reason for tauba is that we are in desperate need of Allah, we cannot live in this life without Allah!
Life would lose meaning if we let Allah go out of your life! Subhanal Allah
Returning to Allah is like saying ya Allah, I am at your door and only you can cover me with your forgiveness, mercy and bounties!
Has anyone ever had enough of Allah's forgiveness, mercy and bounties???

Let's not come out of the state of tauba, let's not leave istigfar....this is our fortress and also the opening key for any door of goodness and success!

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen, wa salato wasalamo ala Rasulil Allah

My duaa…my refuge…
Sometimes I ask you for something…but you do not give me! So I say, no doubt that was not good for me…I praise you and make sabr…my heart expands and I feel content

Sometimes I am in a rush to get something at that precise moment! You stop me and tell me wait, now is not the right time! I smile…I slow the pace…I take a deep breath…my heart expands and I feel content

Sometimes I want a friend and a friend is not there, so I realise that maybe you want me to talk to you…so I turn to you and you give me full attention…my heart expands and I feel content

Sometimes I see no way out…but the heart has become so expanded, subhanal Allah…that I have the full confidence that you are not going to let me down…because I know that I cannot be a true believer until my trust in You is stronger than that which I have in the palm of my hand…my heart expands further and all my prayers are answered…

Bismil Allah Ar Rahman Ar Raheem

Alhamduli Allah Rabb al alameen

Wa salato wa salamo ala Rasulil Allah

We have lost touch…

We have become people of machines,

We have become people of gadgets,

We have become people of apps

We have become people of messages

We have become people of “what’s up”,

Subhnal Allah

As we start writing more and more

As we start messaging more and more

Have we really become closer than before?

Have we not lost the human touch?

Where is that warm voice on the other side of the phone?

We have become so busy…that now we say salam and walaikum salam over a message

We are too busy…running after what???

Subhanal Allah

Which race are we going to win by letting the human touch go away?

Once upon a time, we made time with will of Allah…

Now, we do not have time!

We have become slaves of time!

The glass broke the heart…

Anger breaks just like the glass! Subhanal Allah

Can you mend a broken glass???

Patience builds…babies are born after nine months of carrying by a beloved mother,

Subhanal Allah…this load gets heavier by day up till that moment of delivery when the cry and laughter cannot be distinguished. Subhanal Allah.

There is pain but there is joy and this joy is only possible because of nine months of patience and hope by a beloved mother. Subhanal Allah.

This is patience!

When that feeling of unfairness, pain and hurt wants you to break the glass, to utter the forbidden word, the word of displeasure of Allah subhana wa t’Ala… at that time stop!

At that time that word is like a stone that potentially is going to break the glass... even more than that…is going to break that especial muscle in your body, the heart!

You cannot do that!

You stop...you swallow that anger because your Rabb loves those who make sabr, your Rabb loves those who do good (the Muhseneen) but the key of acceptance is to restrain that action for the sake of Allah and then even harder than that is to forget, to let it go from your heart...Subhanal Allah.

This is the highest darajah, the highest rank...subhanal Allah this is the darajah of Yusuf AS...can you get there?

Eyaka na 'bodu wa eyya ka nasteen ( Only Thee we worship, only Thy help we seek ).

Wisdom

Doing dawah, inviting for good and for avoidance of evil requires wisdom. How do I get wisdom, I have realised that wisdom is a gift of Allah SWT and He gives to whom He wills. No doubt, Al Qur'an is a source of Wisdom because Rabbana is Al Hakeem, All Wise and His Qur'an is also Hakeem as it is described in the Qur'an.

I have learnt that I have moments of wisdom and then I have also moments of ignorance. Moments of wisdom are the moments when I acted exactly as Rabbana wanted me to act and moments of ignorance were those when either I allowed my lower self to take the best of me or the shaytan rushed in to spoil the matter.

As soon as we realise that we acted in haste, in ignorance, then we have to turn to Allah and ask Him to cover us with His forgiveness and Mercy. If we do that, then no doubt that is the moment of Light from Allah and with Light comes wisdom.

Return to Madina

...it is Friday...with the help of Allah go back in time, go back over 1400 years,...

…return to Madina, the society established under the laws of the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet SAW...yes I want you today, this Friday in shaa Allah to return to Madina,…

... I want you to observe as a visitor...how the Prophet SAW is talking to Abu Bakr RA,...

…I want u to look at how Umar RA is competing with Abu Bakr RA in giving charity,...

…I want u to see how mother Aisha RA is taking care of her household, of the Prophet SAW’s needs,… and how beautifully she faced the totally unfair slander against her, a big test for her,…

…I want you to see how the Prophet SAW is managing his responsibilities as a leader, as a husband, as a father, as a friend, as an advisor,...

… I want you to watch how the Muhajereen (emigrants from Makkah) and Ansar are doing business together...ya Allah...how the Ansar were happy to share everything they had with the Muhajereen...Ya Allah,...

…yes today I want you to go back...I want you to see the sunshine in Madina...I want you to see how the companions led a prosperous life under the leadership of the Prophet SAW,…

…finally...ya Rabb,...

…you have arrived to Masjid Nabwi ...to hear the Prophet's SAW' Friday sermon...what would be his message to us...he called us his brothers/sisters...what would be the best advice of a truthful brother?

...Just reflect...just imagine...

…build Madina wherever you are...be brothers/sisters under the shade of the Qur'an...your Law book, your Manual and follow the example of the Prophet SAW as he was the best example in manners and behaviour, ... "a walking" Qur'an...

Subhanal Allah...Alhamdulil Allah...Allahu Akbar

Baby steps in the sand

Slowly, slowly,

I take small steps in the sand, under a beautiful sun glorifying Allah subahan wa t’Ala

Slowly, slowly,

I realise how needy and helpless I came to the world, Subhanal Allah

Slowly, slowly,

I realise that today I am as needy and helpless as the day I was born, Subhanal Allah

Slowly, slowly,

The reality unfolds in front of me, a small baby softly and beautifully is being taken care by the parents, subhanal Allah

Slowly, slowly

I realise this is exactly how Rabbana wants to take care of me as long as I put full trust in Him ( tawakul alal’ Allah)

Slowly, slowly,

Alhamdulil Allah, I release myself of all worries and concern, masha Allah

Slowly, slowly

I realise lahaula wa quawata illa bil Allah (there is nether power nor strength except from Allah, subhana wa t’Ala)

Subhanal Allah, Alahmdulil Allah, Allahu Akbar

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen.

Bismil Allah Ar Rahman Ar Raheem

Alhamduli Allah Rabb al alameen

Peace and blessings of Allah be upon the Prophet, his family, companions and followers

From darkness into light

I enter into my room, it is dark, pitch dark!

I desperately search for my heart, cannot find it!

I desperately look for my feelings, cannot feel!

I hit the wall and then I say where my intellect is?

My search continues…

I look for my limbs…they have become numb!!!

Subhanal Allah, what’s happening?

Am I dead?

Is this my grave?

No,No,No…I scream…I wake up!

It was dark, a nightmare!!!

No, it was an opening, a wakeup call, light…light…

I woke up, it was the early hours before dawn…

I washed my hands, I washed my face, my arms, I passed water over my head, I washed my feet and I turned myself to my Allah…

I recited Surah Fateha, the first chapter of the Qur’an, The opening…

I went on and recited verse 35 of Surah Al Noor…and the message was clear…

(35. Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The parable of His Light is as a niche and within it a lamp: the lamp is in a glass, the glass as it were a star Durriyyun, lit from a blessed tree, an olive, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow forth, though no fire touched it. Light upon Light! Allah guides to His Light whom He wills. And Allah sets forth parables for mankind, and Allah is All-Knower of everything.)

Darkness had instilled in my heart because I had stopped seeking the light, I had become a slave of desire; slave of success; slave of people.

Subhanal Allah….that was my Rabb calling me…

I read again and again ayah 35, Surah Al Noor...

That was not my grave; that was my dark world!

Everything became clear…as I finished the prayer…I understood my nightmare, my dream, yes, it was a blessed dream, it showed me my reality on my sleep!

That was my Allah’s wake up call for me, the dark room was my dunya…

I was a lost soul without any direction and my Rabb called me and His message was clear…time will not stop but I have to leave the dark room and move into the light! Subhanal Allah, it was clear,  clear as light!

And light was my prayer in those early hours before dawn; light was the recital of the Qur’an during those blessed hours; light was the recital of ayah 35 of Surah Al Noor; Light was real because it was from Allah, Al Noor as –samawat wal-ard; The Light of the Heavens and the Earth.

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen.

Peace and blessing of Allah be upon the Prophet, his family, companions and followers.

 Be and it is!

I look at the skies and I notice the sun being covered partly by clouds...Subhanal Allah…

The light cannot be complete...because there are shadows of doubts, there are sins that need repenting, there is darkness that needs to be illuminated, Subhanal Allah.

But Allah's Mercy overpowers His Wrath, so to Allah I turn for Mercy so that He can forgive and release me from all shadows of doubts and darkness...the response of Allah, Ar Rahman is swift...

Mercy of Allah flies quicker than the speed of light and Rabb al alameen is going to raise you from the depths of the earth to the heights of the heavens.

That is your Allah, Subhana wa t'Ala.

The turning of the destiny is as fast as His decreeing “qoon, fayaqoon”, Be and it is!

Wa salato wa salamo ala ashrafil ambya wal mursaleen. Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen.

Light as a bird!

As I wonder in the sands of this world...I look at the skies and I see a world of Birds and I wonder why they are so free...how can they fly?
I try to open my hands and imitate the birds...but Subhanal Allah...it does not work!
Then I realise...they are able to fly because they are so light...mash Allah...they have put aside all their worries...they have emptied their hearts from all heaviness resulting from worries and sicknesses of the heart by the will and with the help of Allah subhana wa t'ala .
They have entrusted their affairs to Allah subhana wa t'ala.
Did you get it???
That is the trick...become light by submitting to the will of Allah, by realising that you were not created to solve your problems but you were created to submit to Al Khaleq,  your Creator, Who will solve your problems. You have to accept your NOW, why worry...why suffer??? Forget your past...and let the future happen when it is going to happen!

Subhanal Allah, Alhamdulil Allah. Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon the Prophet, his family companions and followers.

Your life support machine

You are running, Subhanal Allah
You are not looking back…
What has gone, has gone…
Your sight is on reaching to success,
Your sight is focused on reaching the winning line…
Who are you competing against?
Your own self, your devil and the world which sometimes may be a means of despairing you…
Subhanal Allah, the victory is very near, the relief is coming closer  with the Will and help of Allah, Ar Rahman Ar Raheem…
You are not breathing on your own…you are on a life support ‘machine”…
What???
How can I run when I am on a life support ‘machine”…
Subhanal Allah…your life support “ machine” is your faith and your reliance in Allah subhana wa t’ Ala…there is no better ‘life support machine”!
You are tired…your sight is dreaming about success, ya Rabb al alameen
Now every breath is a duaa, a supplication…no words needed to be uttered, Al Lateef Al Kahbeer, The Subtle Knower knows exactly what you are going through…
You are on the winning line…now there is only Tawhid, lailaha illal Allah, no one is worthy of worship except Allah, no one can get me through except Allah subhana wa t’Ala...this is your success!

Where do I turn to?

So much to do, so many dreams to reach for, where do I turn to?
Left, right, centre? Or shall I just stop, not move?
If the way is becoming too scattered, you are becoming too tired...then stop...pause...ask yourself....why am I doing it? For whose sake, in whose name?
If the answer is just for the sake of it, then stop turn back...
If the answer is for fame...then stop....fame for what? Fame to be said how great you are but you are not great at all! Subhanal Allah, Allahu Akbar (Allah is The Most Great)! Who are you competing with; oh you drop of despicable fluid!

If the answer is like the one that Musa, Peace be upon him, gave to  Allah, Subhana wa t'Ala  (Surah Taha, ayah 83- 84) then yes you are in the right track...

وَمَآ أَعْجَلَكَ عَن قَومِكَ يمُوسَى

83- "And what made you hasten from your people, O Musa

قَالَ هُمْ أُوْلاءِ عَلَى أَثَرِى وَعَجِلْتُ إِلَيْكَ رَبِّ لِتَرْضَى

84- He said, "They are close upon my tracks, and I hastened to You, my Lord, that You be pleased."

…Beidhnil Allah ( with Allah’s permission) you should continue…

Now, you do not need to be scattered , all the roads have met...There is only one way...you have become slave of one Master only...you have set yourself free from all other bondage...you have become free like a bird...now just say bismil Allah tawkaltu alal Allah ( in the Name of Allah, I put my trust in Allah)  and open your wings...Subhanal Allah...no one can stop you...you are free...lailaha illal Allah.

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen.

Which colour do you want to wear?

Sometimes we expect a lot from others, we forget that they have the right to think for themselves and take their decisions on the basis of what seems right for them…Subhanal Allah
We think that only our way is the right one and hence we misjudge them, we put a label upon them…because their reasoning does not fit with our thinking…but hold on!
Alhamdulil Allah, Allah SWT created this world with different colours but all of them sing the same song: lailaha illal Allah, no one is worthy is worship except Allah Subhana wa T’ala.
So be ready to look at different colours in life: the night is black, the clouds are white; the sky is blue, the grass is green and sometimes brown; rain is rain with its beautiful transparent colour while the sun assumes beautiful shades of yellow/orange/red depending on the time of the day; the mountains are brown; you and me are colourful…Subhanal Allah…
No! You do not have the right to ask for one colour for the creation! Allah has not willed that for His creation! Had He wished that, you would not see the diversity in the creation that you witness every moment of your life…Subhanal Allah…
But there is one thing that Allah Subhana wa t’ Ala expects you to be "unicolour" and united in, that is sibghatul Allah (colour of Allah)…Allah Subhana wa t’ala wants us to wear His colour and His colour is Islam and Islam is submission to One and Only ilah (God), Lai ilaaha illal Allah.
But hold on! For us to submit to Al Khaleq, our Creator we need to follow our teacher, the Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him-PBUH) to whom Allah Subhana wa t’Ala revealed the Qur’an for us…
And here comes the story together, despite all the different colours of the creation, we are supposed to adorn us both in appearance and essence with ONE colour and that is sibghatul Allah…Lailaha illal Allah Muhammadur Rasul alal Allah. (There is no one worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad (PBUH) is the messenger of Allah Subhana wa t’Ala).

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen

Peace ad blessings of Allah be upon the Prophet, his family, companions and followers.

...you are tired of climbing the  mountain...you cannot wait to reach the peak...you are looking for friendly faces to tell you… keep moving!...but they are not there!...no, they are not there!...at that time do not dare to forget...that Allah is very, very close...closer than your jugular vein!...He knows exactly what you are going through; you are looking for that friendly face to have that sweet chat...that friendly face is not there...but hold on...your Walyyi, Your Guardian and Closest Friend, Protector is so happy to hear from you...just talk to Him,...He knows your silent prayer...Open His Book...and He will directly talk to you...open the prayer mat...you talk to Him...and just watch how your lonely heart will become a heart full of joy...because a heart that connects with His Rabb is a heart that has found tranquillity and a joy that rests in the most solid of foundations...trust in Allah, Al Wakil, The Disposer of affairs and Al Fattah, The Opener...of all the closed doors...then...you will not look for that friendly face...because you will have found the companionship of Allah and you will smile and say Alhamdulil Allah.

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen.
Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon the Prophet Muhammad, his family, companions and  followers.

Fragrance of Jannah

I love beautiful fragrances...but I am limited to use them in this dunya...as my Rabb has asked me to use them only in my kingdom...and my kingdom in this dunya is my home...I love the sea and the sand and the sky and the birds...I love these creations  and  surroundings designed and created by Rabbana, Al Khaleek (The all Creator) and Badi as samwat wal ard (The Orginator of the Heavens and the earth).,.they make me closer to my Rabb...I feel connected...connected with obedient creation of Allah and I feel that Allah's horizon and mercy is so vast...that I am protected...so what fragrance can I use???...that is lawful, beneficial and makes me free???...I found it...found it...found it!...not in the malls of this dunya but in the gardens of paradise...I found it Alhamdulil Allah...the fragrance of "Tawheed" in a "bottle" of Ikhlaas....what is Tawheed???...realising that nothing can be achieved by myself without Allah willing first...I am helpless without Rabbie..and the bottle of Ikhlaas will not break only  if every time I use it, I do it only for the sake of Allah SWT, to please Subhana wa t' Ala (The Most Glorious and The Most High)....How can I achieve this Tawheed with Ikhlaas?...From kalamul Allah, knowing Who is My Creator...His Most Beautiful Names and Attributes...then I will have an everlasting fragrance in my heart, I will be fulfilling the purpose of my life,  to worship Allah...to surrender to Allah Subhana wa T'ala... Subhanal Allah wa Behamdehi.

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen

Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon the Prophet, his family, compainions and followers.

Spouse of Jannah

You are my spouse of Jannah!

Your fragrance I could smell in dunya even before I met you!

You are from Jannah and with you I want to go to Jannah, ya Rabb

Your fragrance is fresh...like the green grass Whenever I see you, I feel my love for you increases...

When I see you, I ask myself what did I do to deserve a spouse of Jannah???

I get the response....Allah, Ar Rahman's Mercy is vast...He knows, you do not know...

Is not your deeds, it is your silent duaa, it is your call to Rabb for the fragrant companion...

So I surrender and I say Alhamdulil Allah for such a fragrant spouse...Subhanal Allah

When you come to me in search for console, an attentive year, a shoulder to lean on...I smile...and I listen to you with all my attention directed to you...at that moment ...time has stopped...it is only you and me...this reminds me of the love and the  companionship of the Prophet SAW and Khadija RA...

When I am with you...I forget...I let myself be myself...I smile...and you joke...and it reminds me of the love of the Prophet SAW for Aisha RA...

As I wake you up for the prayer...a couple of drops of sweet rose water......make you smile...not angry...

I ask myself what I have done to deserve such a companion...

As we pray together...I realise your darajah...and I ask Allah to make me an obedient wife...

I do not know your duaa...but when you come home...I see you face shine when you look at me...I see all my tiredness fade away...

I feel that the time has stopped...it is a new beginning...our love has once more been blessed by Allah, Al Wadood.

You look at me...you smile and you say Allahmdulil Allah...I respond Subhanal Allahi wa Behamdehi...

When we are together, the breeze is filled with  tranquillity and peace, there are no words, there is only affection...sweet looks...and children play around...this peace surrounds them too...they feel the impact of the love of the parents...

But this love is much more than common love...there is desire, but there is soul also...there is respect...there is understanding...no voice is ever raised...few words and silence do the talk most of the time...

As we pray together...you finish the prayer and make the most beautiful duaa...

Rabbana, Hablana min azwajena wa dhurreayatena, kurrata ayuneen Vaj'alna lil mutaqueena imama.

I found the answer...why you are the zauje of jannah and why our household is a household of Jannah, Ya Rabb al alameen

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen

Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon the Prophet, his family, compainions and followers.

Bismil Allah Ar Rahman Ar Raheem, Al Hamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen...

Friday, My Duaa

…sometimes the heart gets overwhelmed...and the words come out...like water flowing from a beautiful fountain...Subhanal Allah...duaa is very special...I love to ask Allah SWT, it is a very special relationship...with people your upper hand is better than lower...Alhamdulil Allah, May Allah, Al Ghani give us ghinaa. With Allah, Al Wahab the story is different... the lower hand is better than the upper hand! Subhanal Allah...so today is Friday and we know that there is an hour of acceptance, beidhnil Allah...so what am I going to ask my Rabb ???I do not know where to start, the heart is feeling overwhelmed...so I ask Allah for the eman and ehsan of the Prophet SAW; I ask Rabbana, Ar Razaq, Al Wahab, Al Haqq for the success, for the beneficial wealth, for the generosity and for the truthfulness of Abu Bakar Siddique RA; I want more; I ask for the good character of Khadija RA, to whom even Allah SWT and Gibreel AS sent salam, Subhanal Allah; I ask for the love, innocence and love for the knowledge of Aisha RA; I want more, I ask for the sabr jameel of Yaqoub AS; that's not enough...I want more, I ask for the shukr of Nuh AS, whom Allah called in Qur'an abdan shakura; not over yet, I ask for the strength and determination of Omar RA; what is left...much more...but one more and that's it! Ya Rabb al alameen I beg you for the submission and tawaqul of Ebrahim AS. Ameen ya Rabb al alameen.
Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen, Peace and blessings of Allah be upon the Prophet SAW, his family companions and followers.

Bismil Allah Ar Rahman Ar Raheem, Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen

TIME, a gift from Al Hayy, Al Qayyum (The Ever-Living, The Self Subsisting, The Sustainer of all)

Time, what is time? Do we realise the importance of time?

No, surely we do not!  we do not only take today for granted but also tomorrow and the week after, and the year after…

We forget that this precise breath that we are taking might be the last one! Subhanal Allah (Glory be to Allah, Who is free from all imperfections).

But the aim of my message is no to make us despair!

The aim is to remind us that the only thing that we have in our hands is the time…time to realise that there is Allah, Who is the Creator and Disposer of all our affairs.

Whatever we have wasted of time is gone, gone, gone forever! So no point being sorry about it!

What counts is now!

I myself struggle to make the best use of time. At this precise moment there is one simple truth that gives me the stamina to continue.

That I have a Rabb (Lord) Who is taking care of my affairs, Who knows my strengths and weaknesses...who knows my joys and my sadness and pains… I only need to turn to Him, to ask for guidance, for light, for making sure I take the right decision in every step of my life.

I love this prayer that we Muslims say in the morning and evening and this gives me the hope that every step that I take is going to be a blessed one because I am not relying on my imperfect intelligence and knowledge, but I am relying on my Rabb (Lord), Who is Alim (The All Knowing), Al Hakim (The All Wise), Al Lateeful Khabeer ((The Subtly Kind, The All Aware):

 "يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ أَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ وَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ".

Yaa Hayyu yaa Qayyoomu birahmatika 'astagheethu 'aslih lee sha'nee kullahu wa laa takilnee 'ilaa nafsee tarfata 'aynin.

O Ever Living One, O Eternal One, by Your mercy I call on You to set right all my affairs. Do not place me in charge of my soul even for the blinking of an eye (i.e. a moment).

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen.
Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon the Prophet Muhammad, his family, his companions and his followers.

YOUR DAY

In shaa Allah I leave u with a thought...life is a repetition...u wake up in the morning and u see that u repeat a lot of things...probably most of the things...u pray...u smile...u read the Qur'an...sometimes u repeat the same ayah.....u look at your husband...you look at you mother...you look at your children...you smile...you smiled yesterday...you smiled in the evening...you  smile again...why is so??? We humans are supposed to repeat,... it starts with the reading of the Qur'an, which is an opening...same ayah will open to you in different ways...at different times...and repetition in this way is going to be beneficial...Alhamdulil Allah; you smiled at your family members...you did not feel a repetition...if your love is truthful there is a joy in the smile...and u smile again and you hug again...your affection is renewed...enjoy the repetition in your life in the Name of Allah...open the day with Alhamdulil Allah...make very repetition a thrive for ehsan, excellence for the sake of Allah...each time more truthful... Wherever you go, whatever you do...as long as you are following the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet SAW...doors will open for you...patience is required...mine and your timing can be different from Rabbana's timing...but please make a resolution... turn your face towards Al Noor...all darknesses will hide away, will disappear...it will be only Light and Light from Al Noor...so start now by being pleased with the guidance from Allah and with your qadar ... …if you are pleased with your Rabb...you Rabb no doubt...your Rabb will become pleased with you and beidhnil Allah you will not be disappointed... This is YOUR DAY...A GIFT FROM ALLAH. USE IT TO PLEASE HIM IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE. SMILE and SAY BISMIL ALLAH and ENTRUST ALLAH, AL WAKIL all your affairs and now relax.

Alhamdulil Allah, Fadl Minal Allah. Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon the Prophet, his family, companions and followers.

THE "CREME AlA CREME" IN THE SOCIETY

In life you like to aim for the best in everything, don't you ???

If that's what you aim for... then:

Ask Allah, your Rabb,…

Ask for the faith like the faith of the Prophet SAW, was there anyone with a more complete faith than him?

Ask for love of Allah as the love of Asyah RA, did anyone else ask for the neighbourhood of Allah SWT in Jannah?

Ask for the trust of Ebrahim AS, did not Rabb change the law of nature for him by cooling down the fire?

Ask for the friendship like the friendship of the truthful one, can there be any better friend than Abu Bakr Siddique RA?

Ask for the forbearance and determination of Yusuf AS, can anyone be more patient than Yusuf AS?

Ask for the companionship like the companionship of Khadija RA, can anyone be a better companion than our beloved mother Khadija RA?

Ask for children like Fatima RA, can anyone be a better daughter than Fatima RA? ...the Prophet SAW used to stand up to kiss her when she used to come to see him, Subhanal Allah!
Ask for the honour of Maryam AS, can anyone be more honourable than the mother of Esa AS?

Ask for the acceptance like the acceptance of the duaa of Zakariah AS...did not Allah, Al Mujeeb, The Responder and Al Qarib, The Near grant him and his wife children in old age?

Ask for the love of your companion as the love of the Prophet SAW for our beloved mother Aisha RA, did anyone love more his wife than the Prophet SAW loved his beloved Aisha RA?

Ask for the wealth and generosity of Abu Bakr Siddique RA, did anyone gifted more to the cause of Allah than Abu Bakr RA?

Ask for the knowledge of Aisha RA...was there any woman scholar more knowledgeable than Aisha RA?

Ask for the strength and determination of Omar RA,...was there anyone more resolute than Omar RA?

Ask for hayah  of Osman RA,…were not even the Prophet Muhammad SAW shy of Osman RA?

Ask for the completion in your womanhood as the completion of Khadija RA, is not our beloved mother one of the women of Jannah?

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen

Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon the Prophet SAW, his Family, companions and followers

Bismil Allah Ar Rahman Ar Raheem, Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen

"ABDAL ALLAH"

I am not "me", I am not "I", I am what my Malik, my Rabb wants me to be...

I wake up in the morning praising Rabbie for another chance...

I do not look at the glass mirror on my wall but I look at azujaja in my heart...

Shining it day and night is my job...

Istigfar is the "cleaner" that I use and for polish I use Kalamul Allah...

Living for myself I do not know what it is!

What I know is my Lord will help me as long as I am at the service of his/her abdal Allah...

Best of the character I pray to become, the character of the Prophet SAW...

Sidq  of Abu Bakr I aspire to in my heart, tongue and deed...

Beautiful apparel does not say much to me as Taqwa has become my libaas..

I am a traveller, world is not mine, I am not world's...

I am from paradise, that's where I belong...

To my Rabb, Allah is the return

Al Jameel I want to see...

Real beauty I aspire to, beauty from Allah Al Noor's Light…

 Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen.
Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon the Prophet Muhammad, his family, his companions and his followers.

Bismil Allah Ar Rahman Ar Raheem, Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen
"WE ARE ONE"

I beg Allah, my Rabb to make my entry a sound, a truthful entry.

I dream and I dream.
I say I want to be happy...I stop!
I say In shaa Allah I want to be happy...NO, it is not strong enough!
I say Rabbana make all seekers of Knowledge happy in dunya and akhirah. I found the answer, my prayer has been accepted.
Allah's promise is True because Allah is Al Haque ( The Truth) and his messenger, the Prophet Muhammad SAW said the truth:

In Saheeh Muslim and Sunan Ibn Majah, it is narrated from Abu Darda that the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) said, 'The Dua of a person for his Muslim brother in his absence will be answered. At his head there is an angel, and every time he prays for him for something good, the angel who has been appointed to be with him, says, 'Ameen, may you have likewise.

My sister, your quest for happiness is my quest for happiness
Your smile is my joy,..
Your cry is my pain...
We are not separated
We cannot be divided
Our origin is one
We are one...
We are the ummah of the Muhammad SAW

Alhamdulil Allah Rabb al alameen.
Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon the Prophet Muhammad, his family, his companions and his followers.
